The work explores the boundaries between the digital, the physical, and the psychic. It reflects on how to transcend the bodily sphere while questioning the role of belief in the attempt to reach and embody an-other state of existence -or non-existence. The sequence of AI images obtained from the video documentation of a pole dancing performance becomes a visual and sound journey through different dimension -or through one that feels like many.





In this sense, the internet-derived concept of backrooms is present as in what supposedly looks the most familiar -such as an office space- can also feel extremely unsettling and foreign. The pole is the connection between the floor and the ceiling, the link between one world and another. It becomes a tool for ascension -and trancenscion between floors-, stretching towards the holy beams of office neon lights.
