La Boca Bava music video was realized for Rebecca Solari’s last sound project -fulmine. fulmine is the liberation of liquid molecules, darker hopes, myths, and contradictions of staged characters in a soap-opera composition.
The video documentation of Solari’s ice-skating performance turns into a combination of AI generated images and raw footage. Whi- le recalling Solari’s childhood, the ice rink is also a blank space where a multitude of characters co-exist and eventually converge into one.

The characters generated from frames of Solari’s body in movement highight a preconception of gender in a binary artificiality that strictly follows normative criteria for gender, looks, and censorship. What occurs in society is replicated in the digital space. As a response, the video culminates with the artist freely experimenting with movement to overcome the expectations of how her body should look, act or sound like. La Boca Bava clip is -therefore- the reaffirmation of fulmine’s unicity.
